Khabib Nurmagomedov won impressively at UFC 219 on Saturday night, smashing veteran striker Edson Barboza as if he were made of paper.

So of course that produced all sorts of talk about Nurmagomedov being the top contender in the lightweight division – a division whose champ is the now-filthy rich Conor McGregor, and whose interim champ is Tony Ferguson. Will Nurmagomedov ever face McGregor? Or will the Irishman continue sailing on the seas of wealth and fame, leaving the belt behind for Ferguson?
