Georgi Karakhanyan (left) needed less than a round to score a submission victory over Waylon Lowe in the first bout of the World Series of Fighting 5 main card broadcast tonight.

Karakhanyan took the advantage quickly against Lowe, landing leg kicks efficiently from his Southpaw stance. The California-based Karakhanyan, an ex-indoor soccer player, advances his record to 22-3-1. Lowe, of Philadelphia, falls to 14-5.
