The face of the UFC – Dana White is still the foul-mouthed, ill-tempered president we first fell in love with when Zuffa stepped in to take over. When you’re the promoter of the fastest growing sport in the world, you can expect a large amount of criticism on a daily basis.
White may not be able to respond to all critiques, but when he does – you know you’re getting an expletive tongue or type lashing. Whether it’s Twitter, press conferences or in this case The UG.
Forum thread title: Dear Dana White, Please Cash out and Retire
“Hey Reggie, Go f*** yourself,” White told the poster on The Underground. “There is another bad word for all you PUSSIES on the UG!!”
White is then critiqued by another forum poster that questions the payment of fighters, as compared to boxing events like the Timothy Bradley-Juan Manuel pay-per-view which made the boxers millions.
“STFU and go away,” White wrote in response. “If you hate the UFC so bad then WTF are you doing here? go follow 1 Direction or something else! Bradley wished he makes what GSP makes, so the fact that you have no clue what you are talking about and you hate me and the UFC just GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE.”
The long running argument of fighter pay continued, as White continued on responding.
“Yes dipshit GSP makes big fucking $$$$! You didnt know that because its none of your fucking business. You also have no clue what [Johny Hendricks] makes. Bradley wishes he made what Johnny made too. and GSP fights 3 times a year!! They do not.”
“Dickhead, you will know what a certain fighter makes if HE wants to say it,” White wrote to another poster. “I on the other hand will say whatever the fuck i want because i DO know what they make.”
In the end, White reminds us, “it’s all in good fun.” The former Boston native explains, it’s just his style of communicating with the fans.
“OK, I popped in to say hi to the UG,” White wrote in closing. “Always fun boys, Don’t get butthurt and take s*** personal. This is the way i talk and i love talking to fight fans. You know me by now i have been here for 13 years and if you don’t like me or the way i talk then you probbably shouldnt talk to me. There are plenty of other personallities and cool people to talk to in the sport. See you on Dec 28th.”
