Behold mugshot of the best 205-pound fighter in the world, and a man widely considered to be one of the pound-for-pound best at fighting within a cage:

And this is his handiwork, which may or may not have been a direct result of the marijuana and pipe found in the car after Jon Jones took off on foot with a wad of cash:

Last night, Jones turned himself in and was arrested on a felony charge for leaving the scene of an accident – an infraction made a felony because the victim in the other car, a pregnant woman, suffered a broken arm when our champ ran a red light and crashed into her vehicle.

Here’s an update on the latest concerning Jones’ legal issues, courtesy of local news outlet KOB:

UFC light heavyweight champion Jon “Bones” Jones was released from custody Monday night around 9 p.m. after being arrested and booked by Albuquerque police at the Metropolitan Detention Center on a felony charge of leaving the scene of an accident.

Jones turned himself in after a warrant for his arrest was issued Monday afternoon.

He did not speak to the media upon his arrest or after his release on a $2,500 cash bond, but his lawyer, Vincent Ward, told KOB “Jones will do what he needs to do and I will do what I need to do” regarding the charges.

You know what’s embarrassing? The fact that this man is supposed to be a representative of our sport.
