Josh Burkman stepped onto the world stage back at TUF 2 (!), and has had a long career that’s taken him everywhere. Unfortunately, he should’ve hung up the gloves eons ago, so what we’ve got tonight is a fighter riding a four-fight losing streak against Alex Morono –  a dude who’s lost only once in four trips to the Octagon.

Burkman comes out trying to work his kicks. Morono seems to thinks that’s a good idea, so he does the same, and soon he’s making Burkman walk funny. Punches up top have the TUF 2 vet going down, and when he tries to rise Morono latches onto his neck with a guillotine and cranks it. Burkman is forced to tap – and hopefully, he’ll soon be forced to retire.

Results: Alex Morono def. Josh Burkman via Submission (Guillotine) at 2:12, R1
