UK banger Tom Breese parlayed a successful run in the minor leagues into a nice, little undefeated streak in the Octagon – that is, until he lost a decision at UFC 199 nearly two years ago. He pretty much disappeared after that loss, but he returns at UFC Fight Night 130 to take on old man Dan Kelly, the Aussie judoka who likes to absorb tons of punishment and tire his opponents out that way.
The bout opens with Kelly playing his usual game: throw out low-kicks and jabs and encourage Breese to beat the living daylights out of him and get tired. Breese obliges, firing off combos, and Kelly is eating some knuckle sandwiches. Then come the uppercuts, and the Aussie doesn’t seem prepared for that aspect of violence.
