The last time they fought, it took TJ Dillashaw about a round and a half to knock then-champ Cody Garbrandt out. This time around, it took less than a round.

In the main event of UFC 227, bantamweight top dog Dillashaw gave former teammate-now rival Garbrandt his immediate rematch, and you have to think that maybe Garbrandt should’ve taken some extra time off to work on those holes Dillashaw keeps exploiting.

Yes, they threw down, firing fists that were almost faster than bullets while flitting into range and flitting out. And since we both know these guys are capable of banging, and putting people away with the heat they throw, at any moment either guy could’ve gone down.

But Dillashaw simply has Garbrandt’s number, and has a firm handle on when to unleash those counters, and soon it was a knee and some punches that had Garbrandt sinking to the canvas once more.

It was a pretty badass performance by both, but Dillashaw… he’s the man.
