Stick a fork in Rashad Evans, because he’s done.
The winner of TUF 2 and former light-heavyweight champ has had a long and fruitful career that saw him first enter the Octagon back in 2005. But the last few years have been rough, with the fading star winning only twice in nine fights. His last appearance in the cage was at UFC 225, where he was knocked out in under a minute against Anthony Smith.
Evans made the announcement on Ariel Helwani’s new show under the ESPN banner.
Rashad Evans on next! I think you’ll want to watch this one.https://t.co/7XuKPHzxSZ

Evans assures us he’s done for good, and notes that if he wasn’t losing so much, he’d probably keep fighting (which makes sense).
What was your favorite Rashad Evans moment?
