Ovince Saint Preux is a pretty enigmatic dude. He absolutely destroys the lesser denizens of the Octagon, but gets killed by the upper echelon of the light-heavyweight elite. I guess that warrants a co-main event slot at UFC Fight Night 132 against Aussie grappler Tyson Pedro.

They come out swinging in the first, and though OSP is taller and rangier, Pedro gets in close enough to land more effectively – which he does, via a high-kick and a follow-up right hand. That right hand drops Saint Preux, and suddenly it’s all about him recovering enough to defend himself. Which he does, attempting a standing guillotine. Instead of backing away and continuing to strike, Pedro wants to wrestle, and he flubs a takedown and pulls OSP on top.

From top position, OSP snatches Pedro’s arm, straightens it out, and wrenches it, eliciting a tap.

Welp, mark Tyson Pedro down as a “lesser denizen of the Octagon”.
