Marlon Moraes dominated the World Series of Fighting thanks to his killer Muay Thai and ace jiu-jitsu. Of course, it helped that he was fighting utter tomato cans, and when he transitioned to the UFC, he promptly lost to Rafael Assuncao by decision.

But he got back on track, and in his last outing he wrecked Aljamain Sterling, knocking out the rising star with a knee to the dome.

Since then, he and his manager talked a ton of smack about Jimmie Rivera, until Rivera agreed to fight him.

Rivera has been slowly but surely climbing up the rankings, taking out the likes of Urijah Faber and Thomas Almeida with an unwavering counter-striking game and a ton of toughness. The Team Tiger Schulmann star wanted former champ Dominick Cruz next, but with Moraes running his mouth…

They come out, stand just within range, and it takes about 30 seconds for Moraes to plant a high-kick upside Rivera’s head. Rivera drops, Moraes pounces, and it’s all over.
