GLORY, the world’s highest-profile kickboxing organization, has announced that their television deal with SPIKE TV has been extended through next year.

The promotion has televised events on SPIKE since October 2013. SPIKE also aired the preliminary bouts for GLORY’s first pay-per-view event in June of this year.

“I truly believe that we have the best athletes in the world, with production for both live audiences and home viewers that is second to none,” GLORY CEO Jon Franklin remarked in a press release yesterday. “As we move into the new year, I can’t wait to share GLORY’s global vision for kickboxing with our fans.”

The next GLORY World Series event is scheduled for October, with details to come later. GLORY’s plans include a return to Europe for a show in Paris or Amsterdam, Franklin told Bloody Elbow — and he’s also considering inter-promotional relationships with MMA organizations.

“I’m honored to have been a part of GLORY’s growth into one of the top fight promotions worldwide,” Franklin noted, “but the work is not done.”

As described here at Caged Insider, GLORY is noted for having some of the most consistently entertaining broadcasts in combative sports.
