He may have been riding a four-fight losing streak, but Jim Miller doesn’t know the meaning of the word “quit”. So he strode to the Octagon at UFC 228 for his 30th UFC appearance, and when the referee yelled “Go!” he was all over opponent Alex White like a wild animal.

After gauging distance with kicks, Miller cracked White with a left that sent White tumbling. The veteran swarmed and rained down punches from above, and when White turned over, Miller put his jiu-jitsu black belt to good use and latched on the choke.

A minute and 29 seconds. That was all it took to earn the tap out, and for Miller to show the world that the old dog still has some bite left in him.

In his postfight interview, Miller spoke of the Lyme’s disease he’s been fighting for years, which… geez, that sucks. Lyme’s disease is no joke.

Jim Miller is a tough dude.
