Invicta FC 29 was Friday night, and the all-female MMA promotion brought us the usual gleeful violence and technique – as well as a pretty nasty injury.
In the main event, UFC vet Sarah Kaufman just about ate opponent Katharina Lehner for dinner.
Kaufman tore her up on the feet, worked her over on the ground, and finally, in Round 3, tapped her out with a choke. Kaufman earned an Invicta bantamweight belt for her efforts.

Meanwhile, UFC vet Pearl Gonazalez got a submission win over Barbara Acioly earlier in the night, while relative unknowns Julia Avila and Marciea Allen fought for just under a minute for Avila suffered a compound fracture in her finger while parrying a kick. Yikes.
