Tonight is another installment of the all-female promotion of Invicta FC, with Invicta 29 giving us the latest in the adventures of Sarah Kaufman.

You might recall Kaufman as the veteran fighter who, alongside the likes of Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate, ushered in the modern era of female mixed martial arts. And sure, her career in the Octagon sort of petered out, but she’s in the minor leagues of Invicta now, which is like putting an old shark in a pool full of guppies.

The shark is still a shark, and it’s gonna eat.

Anyway, Kaufman is headlining the event opposite Katharina Lehner, and there’s a bantamweight title up for grabs. Also on the card: UFC vet Pearl Gonzalez, Pannie Kianzad, and a bunch of other ladies you don’t know.

If you’re considering tuning in, do it for Kaufman, who could conceivably punch her ticket back to the UFC with an impressive win.
