Unlike fellow TUFer Jessamyn Duke, Angela Hill is a UFC refugee who has actually found some success in the Invicta cage. But tonight she’s up against a former title challenger in Stephanie Eggink, so her work is definitely cut out for her.

Hill is usually aces on the feet, whereas Eggink is skilled in all areas – that means she’d probably want to take Hill down, right? Well, for the first couple minutes she appears content to strike, and that allows Hill to clock her a with a few overhand rights. The one time Eggink does tie up, Hill blocks it by keeping her hips away, and for the rest of the round sees Eggink landing kicks and Hill catching them every now and then and landing that right.

Eggink’s kicks to the body are ever-present in Round 2, as are Hill’s punches, with more and more of them landing. Finally, Hill weaves her way in and finds Eggink’s nose with her fist. Eggink goes down and the referee stops it, and all the blood means Hill likely broke the damn thing. Another nice win for Hill.

Result: Angela Hill def. Stephanie Eggink via TKO (Punches) at 2:36, R2
