Were you just complaining about a lack of MMA action in your life?

Well, be careful what you wish for — this weekend there may be more than you can handle!

Not only are there are two UFC events this weekend… and Cro Cop and Satoshi Ishii battling it out in Japan at IGF 2… there are two events today that you may not want to miss.

First, Titan FC 29: Ricci vs. Sotiropoulos goes down tonight in Fayetteville, NC. The event features former UFC lightweight contender George Sotiropoulos against Mike Ricci, who also enjoyed a UFC run last year following a stint on The Ultimate Fighter season 16. Tri-Star product Ricci scored the “Knockout of the Season” bonus that season, but lost decisions to Colton Smith and Myles Jury.

Sotiropoulos seemed to be racing to a title shot in 2010 after a submission victory over Joe Lauzon, but a losing streak knocked him out of contention. Both look to get back on track tonight.

Also on the card are a title eliminator between Lloyd Woodard and Kurt Holobaugh, and Bristol Marunda vs. Micah Miller. The action will be televised on CBS Sports Network at 10 pm EST/7 pm PST. Preliminary bouts will be aired two hours earlier on CBSSportsNetwork.com.

Second, British MMA promotion Cage Warriors presents its 10th show of the year today with Cage Warriors 71: Amman. The event is underway at this writing — broadcast from Jordan, including a middleweight title fight. Our friends at MMA Junkie are hosting the webcast here in North America. Please visit Cage Warriors official site for information on the webcast internationally.

Enjoy the fights!
