Jim Miller has made 28 trips into the Octagon, and for his 29th, he gets to to fight in the building he fought in as a minor leaguer rising up the ranks. (Note: I saw him fight Frankie Edgar at Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall back in the day.)

Dan Hooker is making the jump out of his New Zealand/Australia comfort zone to visit the Dirty Jersey – here’s hoping he doesn’t step on any of the used hypodermic needles littering the sidewalk outside of the venue!

Despite Hooker wielding a height and reach advantage, Miller seems quite content to flit in and out and throw strikes. That suits Hooker fine, who keeps firing off knees and kicks. Miller catches one, and they go to the ground briefly, but they’re soon back up…

…Where Hooker plants a hellacious knee to Miller’s chops, putting the Octagon vet out in ugly fashion.

Yikes.
