There’s a UFC pay-per-view coming at us this weekend, and since it’s a Brazil-based affair, the UFC has put a hometown hero in the main event slot. Her name is Amanda Nunes, and she’s the bantamweight champ.

And it’s Raquel Pennington‘s job on Saturday night to defeat her.

It’s a tall order. In case you forgot, Nunes earned her belt by wrecking Meisha Tate. Then she utterly destroyed Ronda Rousey. Then she beat Valentina Shevchenko. Again. And prior to all that, Nunes smoked Sara McMann and Shayna Bazler.

In other words, the champ is one tough lady.

Pennington has some decent wins to her name, too. She beat Tate via decision, as well as Bethe Correia, and she tapped out Jessica Andrade. But whereas Nunes is explosive and deadly with her fists, Pennington is all about being durable… and that’s a dangerous way to be against someone so adept at clobbering people.

So… can Pennington beat Nunes?

Ponder that question while you watch this vid of Pennington in action.
