Aging legend Tito Ortiz challenged Bellator’s reigning light-heavyweight champ last night, and though he gave the incumbent Liam McGeary a hell of a fight, it went pretty much as expected. Bellator 142 saw a mini 205-pound tourney culminate in UFC refugee Phil Davis earning top honors, as well as an announcement that Fedor Emelianenko would be returning to fight in a new Japanese PRIDE-esque promotion (with the fights airing on SpikeTV). But the main course was Ortiz and McGeary.
