Bellator 200 came to us from London, England, last night, and it brought with it all the fury of a runaway double-decker bus careening through Trafalgar Square.

(Yeah, that’s about all the London-based metaphor I can muster.)

Anyway, kicking off the main card was UFC vet Phil Davis kicking off Linton Vassell’s head. Whoop-whoop.

I tell ya, spending time in the Octagon certainly gives people a competitive edge over those who’ve never made it into the UFC. For Davis, this meant a confident stand-up game in the first round (which he somewhat lacked while competing against the big dogs). Vassell did his best to fire back, and scored a little, but it wasn’t like he was going to find his opponent’s “off button” with anything.

The second round saw a ton of wrestling thrown into the mix, and both men got pretty freakin’ tired.

Then came Round 3, and Davis just throwing that kick out there and catching Vassell in the chops. That was it.
