Armenian striking badass and killer grappler Gegard Mousasi was smart. When he realized no belt in the UFC was forthcoming, he bailed, joined Bellator, and wasted no time in earning a title shot there.

And in the main event of Bellator 200 last night, he did what he set out to do, and made it look like it was nothing more than a walk in the park.

Keep in mind that reigning middleweight champ Rafael Carvalho was no slouch. He himself became champ with some very violent knockouts.

But Mousasi simply took him down, almost at will, then secured top position and pounded him out. It was all over in less than a round.
