Bellator MMA is serious about building up the female flyweight division.
Recently, the promotion announced the signings of three top prospects out of Brazil, adding to the likes of Ilima MacFarlane, Anastasia Yankova, Lena Ovchynnikova and Keri Melendez.
Joining those fighters in 2016 will be Bruna Ellen, Bruna Vargas and Kenya Miranda.
Ellen is a 20-year-old from the Team Nogueira gym in Sao Paulo. She’s also trained with the Blackzilians in Florida and won both of her fights in 2015.
Vargas also sports a 2-0 record, having competed as a pro since 2013. Miranda, 27 years old, is a member of the BH Rhinos out of Belo Horizonte.
