The weigh-in event for tomorrow’s Bellator: Halsey vs. Carvalho show went off without a hitch today in Connecticut, with all fighters on the main card making their respective marks.

The main event features Rafael Carvalho challenging Brandon Halsey for the Bellator middleweight championship — and both fighters engaged in brief interviews after successfully making the 185 lb limit.

Halsey, who is still undefeated at 9-0 in his MMA career, said simply “I’m going to do my talking in the cage tomorrow.”

Carvalho, of Curitiba, Brazil, said (with the assistance of a translator) that he was confident in his training, and ready for a five round battle. Carvalho’s record stands at 12-10 as a professional.

The show also features a featherweight bout between 22 year old Goiti Yamauchi, a Brazilian of Japanese origins who has won two straight at Bellator; and Isao Kobayashi, a former Pancrase champion of Japan. In an odd coincidence, both fighters have oddly similar records, with 18 wins against two losses. (Kobayashi also has four draws.)

Bellator: Halsey vs. Carvalho, aka Bellator 144, will take place at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT tomorrow.
