The weigh-in event is in the books for tomorrow’s Bellator 143 in Hidalgo, Texas, with all four combatants in the show’s co-main events hitting their required marks.
In the main event, former Bellator bantamweight and featherweight champion Joe Warren (pictured above left), who is 12-4 in MMA, will take on L.C. Davis (pictured above right) in a bantamweight bout. Davis is 23-6 in MMA and currently riding a three fight win streak.
Longtime UFC middleweight Kendall Grove will take on Joey Beltran in the co-main. Grove, a winner of the third season of The Ultimate Fighter, is 21-15 in his MMA career. Beltran is 16-11, with appearances for a variety of organizations including UFC, KOTC, and Bellator.
The only fighter on the card to fail to make his contracted weight today was Nick Gonzales, who missed the lightweight mark by a staggering 16 pounds. His bout with Ryan Couture, which was to end the show’s untelevised preliminary bouts, has been cancelled.
The event will be televised on Spike TV at 9 pm ET.
