Bellator will head to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, for the first time on October 18th, and the event will feature the semifinals of the promotion’s Season Nine welterweight tourney. In addition, the card will see former “Ultimate Fighter’ and UFC vet Kendall Grove throw down on the main card.

In one of the tourney semis Rick Hawn will take on Brent Weedman. Hawn scored a unanimous decision win over Herman Terrado in the quarterfinals, and Weedman submitted Justin Baseman with a first round, armbar.

“War Machine” extended his win streak to three and advanced to the semifinals at Bellator 100, by choking out Vaughn Anderson in round two. Keslar, meanwhile, moved on by earning a split decision win over Sergio Junior.

Grove will make his Bellator debut having ended a three fight losing streak in June, and will battle fellow vet Joe Vedepo.

The card will be hosted by Cedar Rapid’s U.S. Cellular Center and the main card will be broadcast on SPIKE.
