Douglas Lima and Ben Saunders have cleared the final hurdle to their long awaited rematch, as both men made weight this afternoon in Phoenix in preparation for Bellator 100.

The former tourney winnerLima came in at 169.9 pounds for the bout, while Saunders tipped the scales at 169.4. The fight, which will determine the promotion’s last welterweight tournament winner, has been delayed twice due to Lima being injured.

The well rounded fighters battled once before at Bellator 57 in 2011, and Lima stopped the UFC vet in the second round. “The Phenom” went on to face champion Ben Askren a few months later, but lost by unanimous decision.

Tomorrow’s card will also feature the opening round of the Bellator’s latest welterweight competition, which will feature vets like Rick Hawn and War Machine.
