Stud wrestler Aaron Pico may have crapped the bed in his Bellator debut, but he’s been racking up dominant wins ever since, with his Bellator 206 performance his most impressive yet.
Leandro Higo had most recently challenged Darrion Caldwell for the bantamweight belt, and though this bout against Pico was at featherweight, it didn’t look like that bump up in weight class made much of a difference.
You know what did make a difference? The fact that Pico moves like lightning and cracks like thunder.
Higo tagged Pico maybe once with something worthwhile. Otherwise, it was all about the American just smoking him with punches and eventually an elbow coup de grace.
Pico is still young in his career, but it might be time to start talking about a title shot. Is one of the Pitbull Brothers available?
