Currently contracted WWE athlete Brock Lesnar was once again brought up by the media recently, as Dana White was asked if he would be willing to bring back the former champ, if Brock was looking to return. It’s no surprise that Dana was quick to say that he had “no problem bringing back Lesnar.”
It’s no secret that the WWE superstar helped elevate mixed martial arts when he joined the UFC, as he exposed many of his curious WWE fans to the UFC’s pay-per-view product. From 2008 to 2011 Lesnar quickly made a splash, earning the UFC title after only four professional fights.
Unfortunately Lesnar had announced his retirement from MMA on Dec. 30 of last year, after taking a beating at the hands of former Strikeforce, Dream and K-1 Champ Alistair Overeem. Talks of Lesnar’s recent turmoil at the WWE are likely what has caused the question to resurface as of late. Regardless of ongoing rumors, no concrete evidence of Lesnar’s return have been made at this time.
