The UFC has continued to provide pay-per-view quality cards on FOX last night as new fans were introduced to not only a new lightweight contender in Pettis, but the entertainment value of flyweights.
Anthony Pettis takes out fellow WEC veteran in a contenders fight in Chicago with viscous kicks to the midsection, dropping Cerrone in the first. Following the win, Pettis was quick to call to UFC President Dana White for a title fight. White has since responded by saying that ‘he looks to be next in line.’ after Henderson vs. Melendez on April 20th in San Jose, CA.

After Gilbert Melendez
Wow cowboy is a Badass what a finish
ive seen multiple fights from melendez n pettis n gilbert is good but not on level of showtime
Being that hes the only guy in the ufc at 155 that holds a victory over Henderson, yes.
Yes, Lets see pettis vs Henderson 2!!!
Should of been champ sence he joined the Ufc. Just sayin…
Roll out the red carpet for new Champ no matter who is next!!! Puro Pinche Pettis!!!
Showtime! !!!!!
new it soon as pettis connected propely cerrone wouldnt beable to cope great finish by showtime i recon he’d beat melendes and henderson so either way i recon he’ll be champ by the end of year 2013…
Both fighters are good. I think Cerrone had too many distractions at his ranch and didn’t train properly. SHOWTIME is out of this world. My respect to Henderson but Pettis is gonna be champion again.
hells yea!!!! Henderson vs. Pettis
Henderson vs Pettis 2. . . . . Lets do the damn thing!!!!!!!!!
