Anderson Silva may be the best, but it doesn’t mean he isn’t open to learning from others (that would be foolish). Watch as he rolls, teaches and learns with heavyweight submission specialist Fabricio Werdum. Interestingly, Werdum had recently submitted Silva’s mentor Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira at UFC on Fuel on June 8, after coaching the second season of TUF Brazil.
Silva is currently in camp over at Kings MMA in Huntington Beach with his old former boss Rafael Cordeiro, who he once debated murdering (his words in his published book). The champ will need to be on top of his game as he fights undefeated Chris Weidman — a literal prodigy in jiu-jitsu, dominating the east coast Grappler’s Quest tourney with 13 straight finishes after only three months of training. He is also was a runner-up in the ADCC World Champships, losing to Andre Galvao. Galvao is now also part of Silva’s current fight camp.
