Vitor Belfort finishes Michael Bisping in Brazil

Vitor Belfort (22-10) has knocked off the proposed contender Michael Bisping (23-5) in front of his home country of Brazil. It was two rounds of standing exchanges with Bisping putting out the better combinations, while Belfort lands a dropping high kick in not just the first, but the second as well.The second landing kick was the beginning of the end as “The Phenom”

Belfort may be coming off a rebound loss to light heavyweight champ Jon Jones, but it was a near win in a higher weight class. Prior to the loss, “The Phenom,” was seen taking out top middleweights Anthony Johnson and Yoshihiro Akiyama. He may have been stamped with a front leg kick by current champ ¬†Anderson Silva, but Belfort will likely be back in contention with one or two more wins.

Following the win, Belfort made a request to the UFC boss for a rematch against Jon Jones.

“Let me fight Jon Jones. Dana you need to kick that clown out. Take him away. I need that rematch”
