UFC owner turns the tables on ESPN accusationsJanuary 16, 2012 by Joe Rocha

UFC chairman, Lorenzo Fertitta was recently interviewed by ESPN, regarding a piece on the low-wages of a starting-off UFC fighter. The interview aired yesterday, and as we said before, it paints the UFC as a bleak low-wage career, unless you’re a top pay-per-view headliner like Georges St-Pierre, or Anderson Silva.

Above is the video the UFC released from the same interview, showing their side. Ironically Fertitta slams ESPN journalist John Barr, explaining ESPN boxer’s make 1/10 what the starting UFC fighter makes. Perhaps the ESPN pot should of did its research before calling the UFC kettle black? Dana White has since tweeted that there is also more footage to release once the team returns from Rio.
