UFC FN 32 Weigh-Ins: Belfort-Henderson II Set

Dan Henderson

As one would expect, neither Vitor Belfort or Dan Henderson appeared to have any difficulties making weight today, in preparation for their UFC Fight Night 32 headliner tomorrow night in Goiania, Brazil.

Belfort, who is the promotion’s #2 ranked middleweight, came in at 204 pounds for the light-heavyweight fight, as did “Hendo.” The two will be fighting for a second time, as Henderson scored a unanimous decision win over Belfort at PRIDE 32 way back in 2006.

Of course, Belfort’s camp pushed for a fight at 205–to in theory–protect his middleweight contender status, but UFC boss man Dana White has confirmed “The Phenom’s” title shot is on the line regardless. It’s also a big fight for Henderson, as the 43 year-old legend is coming off decision losses to Rashad Evans and Lyoto Machida. If he can take out Belfort, however, it could open the door to a title run at 185.

All of the scheduled competitors made weight for tomorrow’s card, including middleweights Cezar Ferreira and Daniel Sarafian. The two were originally scheduled to fight in the TUF Brazil 1 finals, but the bout never took place due to various injuries. “Mutante” came in at 185 for the bout while Sarafian weighed in at 186.

So, here are the official weigh-in results for UFC FN 32. Although there’s not a ton of all-star bouts scheduled there’s plenty of compelling fights set. The main card will be broadcast via FOX Sports 1.
