It may not mean much (or maybe it means a lot – it’s really too soon to speculate), but the UFC has finally gotten off their butts and done something to help the beleaguered Nick Diaz.
After suffering the injustices of an excessive suspension – five years – at the hands of the Nevada State Athletic Commission, who punished Diaz for an alleged failed post-UFC 183 drug test as well as for putting up too vigorous of a defense at his hearing, the popular UFC fighter has been garnering support from all over. Now, his bosses are showing their love.
@ufc put me in touch with their lawyers at Campbell & Williams and they will also be helping me with the NSAC

Given that Diaz already has lawyers (and good ones), it’s hard to see what the UFC’s legal eagles will be able to do. But hey, it’s the thought that counts – right?
