Frankie Edgar reigned supreme among the lightweights until some crappy decisions saw his belt taken away, so he moved down to featherweight. He failed to dethrone the champ there, but has since established himself as a top contender – and a dude capable of some exciting headlining bouts. On Saturday morning he and Urijah Faber will be the marquee matchup at UFC Fight Night 66 (the organization’s first venture into the Philippines), and given Faber’s track record, “exciting headlining bout” will be an understatement.
In other words, these cats are going to go buckwild in the cage. Guaranteed.
But don’t take my word for it. Watch what happened the last time Edgar stepped into the cage.
