Up next are Darren Till and Jessin Ayari. In two UFC appearances, Till has won one and had a draw against Nicholas Dalby in another; Ayari snagged a win over Jim Wallhead in his only UFC appearance.
From the outset, it’s clear is wielding greater confidence in his striking. This enables him to tag Ayari with left hand after left hand, and mix in high- and low-kicks while Ayari is constantly swinging and hitting only air.
Things only get worse for Ayari in the second, with Till dropping him with another left and following him down. Ayari welcomes the change of scenery, threatening with an armbar from the bottom. Eventually they work back upright, trade a bit, and again Till sends his opponent to the canvas with a left. Ayari is losing brain cells with each passing moment.
Round 3 is more of the same – Till’s left is killer, while Ayari is struggling to do something worthwhile – and when time runs out there’s no mystery with the scorecards.
