UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones found out the hard way that when something gets posted to social media sites, it can be difficult to fix the damage.
However, Jones quickly corrected his mistake after losing his phone on Tuesday.
“Bones” sent out a message on Twitter that he “Just got a new phone. Changing all of my social media passwords. Apparently I was hacked.”
His manager, Malki Kawa, confirmed the news of the lost phone, writing that the insensitive posts on Instagram “wasn’t Jon.”
The posts that came from the hacker have been deleted.
Jones is set to defend his title later this month at UFC 172 against Glover Teixeira.
