Amanda Nunes has clawed her way to the top of the UFC 135-pound female heap, and since earning the belt, she took out Ronda Rousey. But her past has come back to haunt her in the form of Valentina Shevchenko. The two tangled at UFC 196, and though Nunes took the decision, and dispensed a beating early on, Shevchenko rallied in later rounds and kicked her ass.
So now they’re going to rematch, in the main event of UFC 213. Has Shevchenko learned to turn up the heat early on? Has Nunes learned how to pace herself? We’ll soon get some answers to these questions.
