UFC 200 Results: Joe Lauzon Wrecks Diego Sanchez in a Minute and a Half

When it comes to blood spilled in the Octagon, no one beats Diego Sanchez and Joe Lauzon, who together have left gallons of their own red stuff all over the place. And tonight they’re meeting for the first time in the cage in the “main event” of the Fight Pass prelims. Booyah.

Sanchez takes the center of the cage and tags Lauzon with a kick to the body and a left hand in a flurry. Lauzon takes it, covering up and stepping closer, and then… WHAM! He stuns Sanchez with a right hand against the cage. Sanchez stumbles, and Lauzon follows him, blasting him over and over again. The TUF 1 winner refuses to go down though, and after cracking him some more, Lauzon pauses and looks at the ref, waiting for him to jump in. The ref doesn’t, so Lauzon rocks Sanchez some more, which seems to be enough to warrant the stoppage.

Result: Joe Lauzon def. Diego Sanchez via TKO (Punches) at 1:26, R1
