The fight card for UFC 197 is quickly filling up, as officials announced several new bouts over the past few days.
Set for April 23 from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, the event features Jon Jones challenging Daniel Cormier for the light heavyweight title. Also, flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson defends his belt against Henry Cejudo.
In the light heavyweight division, Marcos Rogerio de Lima takes on Ultimate Fighter alum Clint Hester, while ex-Ultimate Fighter: Latin America winner Yair Rodriguez meets veteran Andre Fili at featherweight.
De Lima (13-3-1) had his six-fight unbeaten streak snapped last August with a submission loss to Nikita Krylov. He had won his first two UFC fights, including a 20-second knockout of Richardson Moreira back in 2014. Hester (11-5) is stuck in a two-fight losing skid, falling via second round TKO to Vitor Miranda and Robert Whittaker.
Rodriguez (6-1) won his TUF title with a decision over Leonardo Morales and has followed up with decisions vs. Charles Rosa and Dan Hooker. Fili (15-3), who is just 25 years old, will be competing for the sixth time with the UFC. He has alternated wins and losses, including a November head-kick knockout of Gabriel Benitez.
