Holly Holm, Miesha Tate and Nate Diaz may all be fighting on next Saturday’s UFC 196, but make no mistake about it: the star of the show above all others in featherweight champ Conor McGregor.
When McGregor’s original opponent – lightweight champ Rafael dos Anjos – bowed out last week due to injury, the UFC scrambled to find a suitable replacement instead of postponing the match. Why? Because with his mouth and his skills, McGregor brings the whole package into the cage – and behind Ronda Rousey, he’s definitely the organization’s number two star.
Below is a video of McGregor in action against Diego Brandao. You know how it goes – give him an opening and McGregor will take your head off.
