The weigh-in for tomorrow’s UFC 191 event in Las Vegas is in the books, with all fighters on the main card hitting their respective marks — including the flyweight championship headliner.
Demetrious Johnson weighed in at 124.5, or a half pound under the division limit, for his flyweight title defense against John Dodson. Dodson and Johnson fought back in 2013 in what was Johnson’s first defense of his title. That night, Johnson retained with a unanimous, if narrow, decision victory.
The only fighter to not make his or her allotted weight was Joe Riggs, who will face Ron Stallings among the evening’s preliminary bouts. The 57-fight veteran, who has competed everywhere from welterweight to heavyweight in his MMA career, weighed in at 187.5 for his middleweight bout. He has one to cut 1.5 pounds in order to make the limit — as fighters are allotted one pound overage for non-title bouts.
