The weigh-ins for the somewhat depleted UFC 186 in Montreal, Quebec are in the books, with headliners Demetrious Johnson and Kyoji Horiguchi on weight for the flyweight title bout in the main event.
The bout will be Johnson’s sixth defense of his UFC Flyweight Championship. The challenger Horiguchi is on a nine fight winning streak, including all five of his UFC appearances.
The rest of the card, including the co-main event, a catchweight affair between the returning Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Fábio Maldonado, also saw each combatant weigh in successfully.
There was a touch of pageantry, as usual. Lightweight Olivier Aubin-Mercier brought what looked like a batch of donuts to weigh ins, and he and opponent David Michaud shared a bite and a smile after weighing in successfully.
