The UFC’s year end card on December 28th has received it’s tenth and eleventh fights, as Siyar Bahadurzada will reportedly fight John Howard, and Shane Del Rosario will battle Guto Inocente.
Bahadurzada (21-5-1) will be fighting for the first time since UFC on FUEL TV 8 in March, when he dropped a unanimous decision to the very tough Dong Hyun Kim. You may recall that in the welterweight’s UFC debut last April, Bahadurzada put away Paulo Thiago in just 42 seconds.
Howard (21-8) is coming off a successful Octagon return, as the veteran worked his way to a split decision win over Uriah Hall at UFC FN 26 in August. That could be a violent and entertaining slugfest if both men come out firing.
Del Rosario (11-2) is probably in a must win situation, as since the heavyweight transferred from Strikeforce to the UFC, he’s been stopped by Stiple Miocic and most recently Pat Barry.
Inocente (6-2) hasn’t fought since May, 2012, when he worked his way to a UD win over Virgil Zwicker while fighting for Strikeforce. So, in other words, UFC 168 will mark his Octagon debut.
UFC 168 should prove to be an amazing way to close out the year, as the card will also feature Weidmand-Silva II, Rousey-Tate II and Browne-Barnett.
