UFC 164 is nearing completion, as a welterweight bout between rising welterweights Pascal Krauss and Hyun Gyu Lim has reportedly been added to the August 31st event. According to a report from MMA Junkie.com, the fight will be part of the upcoming August 31st card, which will take place at Milwaukee’s Bradley Center.
Krauss should be more than comfortable with his surroundings in Milwaukee, as the German born fighter has trained extensively with the city’s Roufusport team, which includes fellow UFC 164 competitors Erik Koch and Chico Camus. The 26 year-old Krauss worked his way to a unanimous decision win over Mike Stumpf in his last outing at UFC on FOX 6 in January, after falling by UD to John Hathaway at UFC on FOX 3 last May.
Lim (11-3-1) is coming off an impressive Octagon debut, as the South Korean fighter knocked out Marcelo Guimaraes at UFC on FUEL TV 8 in March. The 28 year-old welterweight, who is part of the Korean Top Team, has won six straight.
