UFC 148: Silva vs. Sonnen II post-fight press conference (Video)
It was a disappointing night of action for both Chael Sonnen and retiring Tito Ortiz as they failed to deliver their promised victories. However, both did put on competitive matches and simply came up short, but not of course without controversy. We will hear if any of that controversy is discussed in tonight’s UFC 148: Silva vs. Sonnen II post-conference.
Expect to also hear the winners of the bonuses of the night which should be interesting as out of the 11 bouts there was surprisingly not one submission. The one question on our minds is, why did Forrest run out of the cage after his fight?

The controversy was a knee when Chael was down, but that got quickly remedied after replay…
Also why the ref ended it so soon (after two hits) even though Chael landed more in round 1

Sonnen lost by his own fault but I do think it was early stoppage , hell he landed more in rd 1 but Anderson did keep moving .. Hector Lombard will take the belt , without a doubt
They ended the fight to early ,, if you look at the Video you Can clearly see Sonnen defending himself against Silva’s Punches Another Fuck up by the referees .. Love UFC !!!

I swear people are either idiots or blind for saying that knee was on the face. Watch the replay gdamn it and then listen to how retarded you sound.
Some may say that the ref did end it early, and that Silva should have been allowed to T-off on Sonnen’s knot at least another 20 or 30 times to hopefully shut him up for good. I thought it was a class act on behalf of both fighters at the end. Could all be for show, and bigger pay days, but they were both good sports in the end and Chael said that “Spider” was a true champion. No trash talking, no excuses (yet) other than a few fans that are sore losers, so all in all, a good night, and on that note, good night.
Anyone who is talking about an illegal knee to the face is either high, blind, or both. 100% of everyone who saw the replay saw the knee hit the chest. I originally hoped it was a knee to the face so I’d have an excuse but it wasn’t and I don’t.

chael sonnen did not rough him up. yes he did take him down but really didnt do much damage. Anderson got in his groove in the 2nd round and made chael look average which he is.
