The Complete UFC Fight Night 83 Card Is Now Set

ufc fight night 83

Despite losing half of the planned main event, the UFC Fight Night 83 show will go on.

Donald Cerrone and Alex Oliveira meet in the February 21 main event from Pittsburgh. The main card airs at 9 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1.

Cerrone was scheduled to face Tim Means in his UFC welterweight debut, but a drug test taken by Means came back red-flagged from the USADA.

While Means plans to appeal the result, officials moved ahead with replacing him due to the short nature of the card.

We now get “Cowboy” vs. “Cowboy,” as Oliveira is a former bull rider.

Along with Cerrone vs. Oliveira, middleweights Derek Brunson and Roan Carneiro meet in the co-main event. The remainder of the FS1 main card includes Cody Garbrandt-John Lineker, Dennis Bermudez-Tatsuya Kawajiri, Brandon Thatch-Siyar Bahadurzada and Shane Campbell-James Krause.

Four bouts are set for the FS1 prelims beginning at 7 p.m. ET, while the card starts on UFC Fight Pass at 5:15 p.m.
