Whatever slump in pay-per-views the UFC might be going through right now, you just know there’s one fight that would be a shot in the arm – a match-up so compelling that fans would be tuning in in droves to watch. Yeah, I’m talking about a fight between former welterweight champ Georges St. Pierre and former middleweight champ Anderson Silva. Sure, GSP is retired and Silva is busy not getting his leg broken, but it’s still a superfight to end all superfights.
And a match-up we’ll probably never see… which makes the photo of the Canadian and Brazilian’s sparring session from months ago all the more tantalizing.
You just know that Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta saw the pic below and wept quietly in their offices.
