Shane Carwin blows knee, replacement opponent for Roy Nelson starts

The string of bad luck in the form of injuries for Shane Carwin continue. According to UFC president Dana White, Carwin will now be replaced in the TUF 16 finale this Dec. 15th after suffering a blown knee in training.

Former Strikeforce heavyweight Mike Kyle has hinted at being the current replacement, but is yet to be verified. Kyle responded on Twitter to White “I’ll do it.” A minute later Kyle tweeted. “I knew today would be a good day.” Insider, Helwani has also tweeted saying “scratch Josh Barnett for potential opponent.” Here is the current line-up as it stands now.
