Ronda Rousey’s media day recently included a stop back on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” to promote her cover spot for the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition.
Rousey, who is set to begin filming for the remake of “Road House,” discussed the hot topic of her return to MMA with Fallon.
“I made a promise,” she said. “My word means something, so I’m gonna go film (the movie) first.”
That promise was to UFC president Dana White and stated that she will fight again. The likely target date is November, with the former UFC female bantamweight champion expected to meet the winner of March’s Holly Holm-Miesha Tate contest.
You can see a portion of the interview with Rousey in the video below. She discusses a visit to “Hooters” where she played a prank on the waitress, along with her experiences at a Marine Corps Ball.
